Arsenal linked with sensational swoop for Real Madrid star

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it seems, has still not given up on his wish to sign Alvaro Morata. According to reports in Spanish paper OK Diario, the Frenchman has once again become interested in signing the young striker this winter after failing to bring him to the Emirates Stadium last summer.

The 24 year old, who is widely considered to be one of the most highly rated forwards of his generation, moved back to Real Madrid from Juventus over the summer when Los Blancos activated a buy-back option in his deal. And since then, the player has made 23 appearances for his club this season, with a number of them being from the bench, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in the process.

Manipuri duo of winger Seityasen Singh Irom and defender Gouramangi Singh Moriangthem have signed for DSK Shivajians FC on loan for the ongoing season of the I-League, it was announced on Friday.

While Seityasen last turned out for NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League (ISL), Gouramangi plied his trade in Pune itself for FC Pune City.

Juventus sign young Atalanta superstar Caldara

Juventus have signed Atalanta defender Mattia Caldara for 15 million euros in a contract running till June 30, 2021 but he will stay with his former football club on loan till June 30, 2018.

"Juventus Football Club can confirm that Mattia Caldara has agreed a permanent switch from Atalanta until June 30, 2021 for a fee of 15 million euros," the Turin giants said in a statement on Thursday.

Liverpool ace Adam Lallana is understood to be on the wishlist of the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain this winter, according to reports in The Times.

The Englishman has been in fine form for the Reds so far this season; however, he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with them, with the club putting off talks for the same till the end of the season. And as a result of that, the aforementioned sides are known to be keen to lure him to their respective dens, with them ready to offer as much as £40m for his services.
