Griezmann gives disappointing news to Man United fans

Dynamic forward Antoine Griezmann on Sunday ruled out speculations about his leaving Atletico Madrid, insisting that it would be "dirty" to move elsewhere since the capital football club has been hit hard by a FIFA transfer ban till January 2018.

The 26-year-old French international was recently linked with a big money move to Manchester United. And the speculation over his departure increased on Thursday, after the Court of Arbitration in Sport (CAS) ruled to uphold the FIFA transfer ban which means Atletico will not be able add to their squad until January 2018.

English football giant Manchester United is holding talks with Real Madrid over a possible move for Welsh forward Gareth Bale this summer transfer window, according to a media report.

British daily The Independent, quoting multiple sources in Spain and Manchester, reported that reigning Spanish champions Real are willing to listen to offers from United for Bale and the subject has already been broached between the two clubs.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has asserted that he is keen to sign Leicester City's star forward Riyad Mahrez. This revelation comes hours after news broke of a failed £87m bid by the former English Premier League (EPL) champions for teenaged sensation Kylian Mbappe from reigning French league champions AS Monaco.

"We have not made a bid, but personally, I like the player, yes," Wenger told beIN Sports of Mahrez, who earlier this week handed in a transfer request at Leicester.

Italian football club AC Milan has announced the signing of Liverpool and Chelsea target, young midfielder Franck Kessié in a two-year loan deal from fellow Serie A club Atalanta.

"AC Milan announce the signing of Franck Kessie from Atalanta, through to 2019. The contract implies the player will join the club on a two year loan period with obligation to buy," Milan said in a statement on Friday.

Newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions Monaco have extended veteran striker Radamel Falcao's contract until 2020, after the Colombian went through an "unbelievable season", scoring 30 goals and six assists in all competitions to revive his football career.

"Monaco are delighted to announce that the club captain and top goalscorer (21 goals in Ligue 1) has agreed a contract extension until 2020," the club said in a statement on Thursday.

John Anthony Brooks has joined Wolfsburg from league rivals Hertha Berlin, both Bundesliga football clubs confirmed in an official statement.

Wolfsburg have reinforced their defence with the signing of centre back John Brooks, who has put pen to paper on a five-year deal on Wednesday which will keep him at the club until June 2022.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar returns to Ajax Amsterdam

Veteran striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has agreed to rejoin Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, with the 33-year-old forward signing a one year contract with the club on Thursday.

Huntelaar played for German club FC Schalke 04 over the last seven seasons, but his contract in Germany expired and was not renewed.
