Chinese clubs interested in West Ham superstar

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said Chinese Super League clubs are very interested in striker Andy Carroll but the club will not sell its best player.

Carroll, who previously played at Newcastle and Liverpool, has been plagued with injury this season, scoring only six times in 12 Premier League appearances.

Brazilian football club Santos is prepared to listen to offers from Liverpool for highly rated teenage forward Rodrygo, according to media reports here.

The 16-year-old is yet to establish himself in Santos' first team but is already being compared to former club greats Neymar and Robinho for his speed and dribbling skills.


No future for Joe Hart at Manchester City hints Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted that he may not recall England goalkeeper Joe Hart to the club at the end of the season.

Guardiola had dropped Hart as the team's first choice goalkeeper before the start of the current season and brought in Claudio Bravo from FC Barcelona to be replacement. Bravo was later superseded by Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero during the season.


Schalke make Bentaleb's loan move permanent

Algerian midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has signed a permanent deal to stay at German football club Schalke until 2021. Tottenham Hotspur and Schalke have agreed to make Bentaleb's transfer permanent after the end of the loan deal this summer.

Hence, the 22-year-old midfielder on Friday penned a four-year deal, which will keep him with the "Royal Blues" until June 2021.


Federico Fernandez extends contract with Swansea till 2020

Welsh football club Swansea City announced on Friday the contract renewal of defender Federico Fernandez until June 2020.

Fernandez, 28, who arrived at Swansea in August 2014 from Napoli, would have finished his contract at the end of next season.


Eusebio extends Real Sociedad contract till 2019

Real Sociedad have confirmed that coach Eusebio Sacristan has signed a new contract to remain at the club until the end of June 2019.

The agreement on Monday saw Eusebio extend his previous agreement, which was due to expire at the end of June 2018, by a further year as a result of the excellent season the club from the city of San Sebastian is enjoying.


Southampton sign former Barcelona defender Caceres

English football club Southampton has announced the signing of Uruguayan defender Martín Cáceres on a free transfer until the end of the season.

Cáceres, a Uruguayan international with 68 caps to his name, joins Saints after leaving Serie A giants Juventus at the end of the 2015/16 campaign," Southampton posted on their website on Thursday.
