Man United and Chelsea inks new deal with PSG

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has extended his contract for three seasons, the French football club announced on Saturday.

The renewal of the 23-year-old Brazilian's contract came after the contract extension of Uruguayan Edinson Cavani and Brazilian Thiago Silva, until 2020, and Frenchman Presnel Kimpembe, until 2021.

Schalke sign Deportivo defender Pablo Insua

Schalke 04 completed the transfer of defender Pablo Insua from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna, both clubs announced. Schalke reinforced their defence with the signing of centre-back Pablo Insua on Thursday, who penned a four-year deal to stay with the "Knappen" until June 2021.

"Pablo Insua is a tactically well-trained player. He can move the ball quickly and has a good anticipation. In addition, he is a clean tackler," Schalke's head coach Domenico Tedesco said.

Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis heads to Galatasaray

After spending a stellar season on loan at Ligue 1 football side Marseille, French forward Bafetimbi Gomis signed a three-year deal with Turkish outfit Galatasaray.

The 31-year-old Gomis has fared below par since joining English Premier League side Swansea City in 2014 following a five-year stint in Lyon. He did however recoard a career-best haul of 20 league goals in the 2016-17 season.

In what is a club-record transfer, English Premier League (EPL) side AFC Bournemouth has roped in young defender Nathan Ake from Chelsea.

"I had a great time here last season so I'm really happy to be back," Ake told the club's official website.

Malaga sign midfielder Adrian Gonzalez from Eibar

Malaga has announced the signing of midfielder Adrian Gonzalez from Eibar for the next three football seasons. The 29-year-old Spaniard joined Malaga after he impressed in the last two seasons at Eibar, where he appeared in 60 matches and scored 12 goals.

Adrian, who will be presented on Monday, previously played with several Spanish clubs, including Real Madrid Castilla, Celta Vigo, Getafe Racing Santander, Rayo Vallecano and Elche, before spending two seasons at Eibar.

Ecuador international Michael Arroyo joins Gremio

Ecuador international midfielder Michael Arroyo has joined Gremio as the Brazilian football club bolsters its squad for the Copa Libertadores knockout phase.

The 30-year-old will be tied to the Porto Alegre outfit until December 2019 after parting ways with Mexico's Club America. He is the second Ecuador international in Gremio's squad, joining forward Miller Bolanos.

Dani Alves completes Juventus exit

Brazilian winger Dani Alves has terminated his contract at Juventus after one season with the Serie A football champions. The Barcelona fullback made his move to Juventus last year after eight seasons at Camp Nou, eventually becoming one of the key players with the Bianconeri.

"Juventus Football Club is to part company with Dani Alves after agreeing to a termination of the player's contract," a statement on Juve's official website on Thursday read.
