Inter Milan dismiss Banega departure rumours

Inter Milan sports director Piero Ausilio on Tuesday denied rumours about the possible departure of midfielder Ever Banega and declared that the Argentine international is a very important footballer for them.

The 28-year-old joined Inter last summer following a free transfer from Spanish club Sevilla, but he has yet to settle into Inter's starting XI.


Simone Zaza completes move from West Ham to Valencia

New Valencia striker Simone Zaza said he decided to sign for the Spanish football club because it showed the most interest and his intention is to stay here even after his loan period from Juventus expires.

The Italian striker arrived at Valencia on loan from Juventus until the end of the season, after having had a poor spell away to West Ham for the first half of this season. Interestingly, the Spanish club has a purchase option after the loan period ends.


Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai to sign Brazilian striker

Highly rated Brazilian striker Marinho is reportedly poised to sign for Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai.

On Monday, the 26-year-old embarked on a flight to the United Arab Emirates, where Changchun Yatai are currently in pre-season training, Brazilian publication Uol Esporte was reporting. It added that Marinho would undergo a medical before signing a contract.

Arjen Robben inks one year contract extension with Bayern

Veteran Dutch winger Arjen Robben has agreed to a one-year contract extension with FC Bayern Munich, keeping him at the record German champions until June 30, 2018, it was announced on Monday.

"Arjen is one of the best players in the world in his position. He's played for us for almost eight years now and has become an important part of our club in this time. We're delighted he's going to pull on an FC Bayern shirt for a further year," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in a release.


36 year old Ronaldinho looking for a new club

Two-time FIFA world player of the year Ronaldinho is reportedly aiming to return to football with a South American club.

According to his brother and agent Roberto Assis, the 2002 World Cup winner's preference was to join a club that has qualified for the Copa Libertadores, the continent's top club competition. Among the teams linked to the 36-year-old Barcelona legend are Brazil's Chapecoense and Coritiba as well as Uruguayan outfit Nacional.


Bordeaux centre back Pablo joins Corinthians on loan

Bordeaux central defender Pablo has described his return to Brazil as an opportunity to jumpstart his career as he begins a one-year loan spell with Brazilian football club Corinthians.

"Corinthians are a huge club and I'm going to give all that I've got," the 25-year-old told reporters upon arriving on Sunday. "I am very happy because it's a great opportunity for me."
