Chelsea looking to raid Premier League side for super quick winger

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore, according to reports in Sky Sports.

The 20 year old has impressed with his performances for Aitor Karanka’s side since moving to the club from Aston Villa last summer, with him having made 16 appearances for them so far this season. However, most of those stints have come from the bench, as a result of which it is believed that the youngster may have become unsettled at Riverside Stadium.

Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool are understood to be among a host of clubs looking to make a move for Genk winger Leon Bailey, according to reports in The Daily Mail.

The 19 year old, who is also believed to be a target for Everton and Bournemouth, was understood to be a summer target for the aforementioned sides. However, with his other suitors AS Roma and Bayer Leverkusen known to be ready to table a £20m bid for his services this month itself, the player’s English admirers are also being forced to make emergency offers for him now.


Man United insert buy-back clause in Depay transfer deal

Manchester United have reportedly accepted a £16m bid from Lyon for winger Memphis Depay, and the fee could rise to £21.6 million based on add-ons and performance related bonuses according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Interestingly, United have also reportedly included a buy-back clause for the 22 year old Dutch international, perhaps protecting themselves against the possibility of Manager Jose Mourinho leaving the club in the future and his replacement being open to work with the youngster, should he begin to perform.


Reading sign Liverpool defender

Reading have completed the signing of 23 year old Portuguese defender Tiago Ilori from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.

Ilori had joined Liverpool as a teenager from Sporting Lisbon but failed to break into the Reds' first team and had three different loan spells during his time at the club. One of those was with another side in the Championship at present, Aston Villa, but he failed to make an appearance for their first team either.

Borussia Dortmund have revealed that they would be open to the prospect of selling their prized possession, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is known to be a target for Arsenal for quite a while now, if they receive in excess of €70m for him, according to reports in German publication Bild.

Dortmund’s director Hans-Joachim Watzke was recently reported having said that the side would sell the Gabonese sensation, who is also known to be a target for the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid, should they receive the right kind of cash for him, and now news reports have finally revealed how much that amount may be.

Arsenal fan favourite Olivier Giroud has hinted that he is open to the prospect of moving to China in the future, but that he first wants to win the Premier League title with the Gunners.

The Frenchman was asked about his views regarding the recent temptation in players to move to the big money Asian league, to which he replied: “Honestly, from my point of view I will tell you that I can understand, but if you asked me if I want to go now I will tell you ‘no’. The Premier League is my main target so after when I will win it one day, why not, you never know.”


Messi keen to sign new contract at Barcelona

Barcelona's legendary forward Lionel Messi has rejected rumours that he is looking to leave the Catalan giants anytime soon and has declared his desired to ink a new contract with the club at the earliest, quashing talk of a possible move to Manchester City or Paris St. Germain in the summer.

Messi, who has 18 months left on his existing contract at Barcelona, is making less money than Luis Suarez and Neymar, and has been linked regularly in recent weeks with a move away from Barcelona, giving impetus to talk that he may move to England to link up again with former coach Pep Guardiola.
