Kranjcar leaves Spurs for Dynamo Kiev

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar has confirmed that he will be leaving Spurs for Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev after the European Championships. Kranjcar, who after a couple of brilliant seasons at Portsmouth was bought by Tottenham for £2.5 million, has not been able to live up to his billing at White Hart Lane, with first team opportunities too, coming few and far between for the 27-year old.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp too, has at times regretted not being able to field Kranjcar more due to Gareth Bale's emergence, and only recently suggested that he was not looking to sell the player. Kranjcar however seems to have grown frustrated with his peripheral role at the club and has taken matters into his own hands, and on Wednesday told Croatian website that he was indeed seeking new pastures.

Arsenal target Youssef Msakni poised for Udinese switch

Fans with an intricate knowledge of Arsenal related rumour mongering would be familiar with the name Youssef Msakni, with the Gunners having been linked wit the Tunisian midfielder earlier this season. However, reports in popular sports website TalkSPORT suggest that Italian club Udinese have already got in touch with his club, Esperance Tunis to discuss the prospect of the player’s transfer and may complete the deal fairly quickly.

Arsene Wenger had been scouting the 21 year-old after his impressive performance at the African Cup of Nations, where Tunisia reached the quarter-finals of the competition. Speculation was rampant that the Gunners boss was in the process of making a bid for the versatile playmaker, but Esperance Tunis declared that they had not been approached with an offer yet. Wenger was looking to acquire the player to fill the void left after the departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri last season.
