There is a distinct possibility that Gabonese super striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may be strutting his stuff in London sometime in the not too distant future with his present club declaring that they would be powerless to resist an offer for the pacey striker should his suitors be ready to shell out €80 million (£68m).

The news will be music to the ears of Arsenal and Chelsea fans with both their Managers rating the African superstar very highly and capable of spending that amount of money on a player who would radically alter the dynamic of their squad.

21 year old Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom has seen virtually no playing time this season, failing to break into the Arsenal first team and it comes as little surprise that with the Gunners' forward line largely fit and firing, Manager Arsene Wenger could be looking to send the youngster out on loan for the second half of the season.

The Birmingham Mail reports this morning that Aston Villa are among a host of Championship clubs hoping to take the young striker on loan, with Manager Steve Bruce unsurprisingly the favourite to sign him considering Akpom spent last season on loan with him at Hull City.
