Goalkeeping sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma has taken his final call on snubbing the deal offered to him by AC Milan to extend his contract, the seven-time European football champions have announced.

The 18-year-old's current contract runs out in 12 months but he has decided to move elsewhere after not accepting the reported five million euros ($5.58 million) per season contract offered by AC Milan, the club announced on Thursday.

Real Madrid star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly willing to leave the record European football champions after being accused of tax evasion totaling 14.7 million euros ($16.5 million) by Spanish authorities.

According to a report in the A Bola newspaper on Friday, the 32-year-old Portugal captain feels that the Real Madrid club doesn't protect him the way it should. The Spanish prosecution in the indictment alleged that Ronaldo had evaded tax "in a conscious and voluntary manner".


AS Monaco sign veteran Swiss international Diego Benaglio

VfL Wolfsburg's all-time record Bundesliga appearance holder Diego Benaglio has moved to French football champions AS Monaco, it was announced on Friday.

Over a total of nine seasons at Wolfsburg, the 33-year-old former Swiss international made 321 competitive appearances for the club and was a Bundesliga, DFB-Cup and Supercup winner.

English Premier League (EPL) giant Manchester United have completed signing defender Victor Lindelof from Portuguese football league title holders Benfica. The club's website declared the signing of the 22-year-old in a statement released on Wednesday.

Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho was delighted with their first summer signing and said that the 22-year-old Sweden international will add depth to the squad.

Reigning German football league champions FC Bayern Munich have signed promising central midfielder Corentin Tolisso from French outfit Olympique Lyonnais. The Bundesliga title holders confirmed in an official statement on Wednesday that they have secured the services of the promising youngster for five years, with the contract extending till June 2022.

"We are very happy that Bayern were able to sign this young and highly interesting player despite the interest of many other European clubs. Corentin Tolisso was the desired midfielder of our head coach Carlo Ancelotti," Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.


Barcelona complete Marlon signing

Barcelona have exercised an option to secure Brazilian central defender Marlon on a permanent deal, the Spanish football club said.

The 21-year-old, who joined Barcelona on loan from Fluminense last July, will be tied to the Blaugrana for the next three seasons, according to a statement on the Catalan club's website on Wednesday.

Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that the club has offered former Chelsea captain John Terry a good deal.

After spending more than two decades at Chelsea, Terry is set to leave the London club. His contract with the reigning English Premier League (EPL) champions will come to an end on July 1.
