The South African Rugby Union (SARU) today welcomed Klipdrift into their sponsorship family at a launch event at the famous brandy distillery in Robertson.

Jurie Roux, SARU CEO, said he was delighted to announce a new sponsorship, especially in difficult financial times. "We are very fortunate to have a number of extremely keen sponsors as part of our family and we're excited to be working with Klipdrift for the next five years," said Roux.

World number three Lee Westwood, Major champions Ian Woosnam and Michael Campbell joined the stars from the Asian Tour at a charity gala dinner during the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters presented by PNTS to raise more than US$35,000 for the underprivileged in Indonesia on Tuesday. The charity dinner was held in conjunction with the event's partnership with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, a non-profit organisation which builds homes for the poor in the country.

The funds raised will ensure that a total of 14 homes will be built by the Habitat for Humanity, an increase of three homes from last year.
