RTVE (Spain) announces their digital media coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games

Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) and digital media sport specialist deltatre have announced a partnership for the 2012 London Olympic Games. With this agreement between deltatre and RTVE, viewers will be able to access thousands of hours of live Olympic sporting competitions online and through mobile devices in high definition, while interacting with real-time data on PC and mobile devices.

deltatre is providing its cutting-edge mobile and web solutions to RTVE.es to make a live and instantly on demand sport experience available to the Spanish audience.

Asian Tour executive chairman Han to speak at IHT sports summit in Istanbul

Asian Tour Executive Chairman Kyi Hla Han will be amongst a contingent of leading sports officials and major sponsors from around the globe who will be speaking at the International Herald Tribune (IHT) Sports Business Summit in Istanbul starting today.

Han will be speaking on the topic "Where is the next wave of fans coming from, and how can they be targeted" this morning and will also be involved in a panel discussion with Haroon Lorgat, Chief Executive of the International Cricket Council and Jim Small, Vice President of Major League Baseball.

SARU welcomes Klipdrift as new sponsor

The South African Rugby Union (SARU) today welcomed Klipdrift into their sponsorship family at a launch event at the famous brandy distillery in Robertson.

CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters charity gala dinner raises funds for Habitat for Humanity

World number three Lee Westwood, Major champions Ian Woosnam and Michael Campbell joined the stars from the Asian Tour at a charity gala dinner during the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters presented by PNTS to raise more than US$35,000 for the underprivileged in Indonesia on Tuesday. The charity dinner was held in conjunction with the event's partnership with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, a non-profit organisation which builds homes for the poor in the country.

The funds raised will ensure that a total of 14 homes will be built by the Habitat for Humanity, an increase of three homes from last year.
