Weekend Sports TV Guide for India : 4-5 September

The Football Leagues around Europe are on a two week break thanks to the Euro 2012 qualifiers but don't be discouraged sport freaks as we have a great sporting weekend in store with the US Open in full flow, Moto GP returning in San Marino and the PGA Tour Deutsche Bank Championship teeing off this week.

The weekend starts in the wee hours of Saturday morning with the Deutsche Bank Championship in Massachusetts. Tiger Woods is fighting hard to recapture his best form and with the top names in Golf, including the likes Phil Mickelson, Rory Mcllroy and Vijay Singh participating, you're in for an amazing two days of Golf. Weekend Sports TV Guide for India : 28-29 August

A great sporting weekend is in the offing, with a feast of everything from football to cricket to formula one.

We start with football, where the English Premier League has an exciting array of games in store. Arsenal kicks off the weekend with an early game against Blackburn on Saturday. Champions Chelsea take on Stoke City in the second game of the day as they look to continue their great start to the season. Giants Manchester United will play West Ham United in the late kick off at Old Trafford. On Sunday, Birmingham City clash with Bolton Wanderers in the early kick-off. Liverpool play West Brom in the 2nd game of the day and the Reds will be looking to register their first victory of the season. An exciting clash between Aston Villa and Everton also kicks off an hour later. All the great English football action can be watched on ESPN and Star Sports.

Over in Spain, the La Liga campaign starts this weekend and you can catch it all on Zee Sports. Champions Barcelona take on Racing Santander while Real Madrid are on the road at Real Mallorca.

Weekend Sports TV Guide for India : 20-21 August

We have another fascinating weekend of Sports action in store, with a platter full of Football, Golf, Tennis, Cricket and Wrestling.

This weekend marks the beginning of the German Bundesliga. The most exciting of Saturday's action promises to be the battle of the former Real Madrid stars, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Raul as Hamburg take on Schalke in the late kick off. On Sunday, watch Michael Ballack returning to Germany as Bayer Leverkusen plays Borussia Dortmund. Catch all the Bundesliga action on Neo Sports.

Back in the English Premier League, expect another weekend of exciting games as Arsenal take on new comers Blackpool and Spurs play Stoke City on Saturday. In the late kick off, catch Chelsea take on Wigan Athletic and West Ham clash with Bolton Wanderers. On Sunday, giants Manchester United travel to Fulham while Aston Villa plays Newcastle United. Welcome to all you sport junkies out there, this weekend offers an amazing array of sporting events to feast on.

We can't look beyond the start of the English Premier League, the most exciting league in the world is back and get ready to be enthralled by the action. The season kicks off with big spending Manchester City taking on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday with cordite expected. The fans will be waiting to have a look at the multiple signings made by Man City. Champions Chelsea start the season with the late kick off against newly promoted West Brom. The game on Sunday between Arsenal and Liverpool promises to be a cracker of an encounter, the two heavy weights do battle in the only match of the day. Manchester United start the season on Monday night against Newcastle United, so all you die hard Mancunian's will have to wait till the wee hours of Tuesday morning in India to catch a glimpse of your heroes. Sri Lanka v India v New Zealand Tri Series Schedule

The Temple Town of Dambulla plays host to a 7 match one day series between India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. The last time these three teams met was in September 2009 where India emerged as the winners.

The teams would have the ICC Rankings in their minds, as the number two position could change hands by the end of this tournament. Australia are ahead and cannot be usurped from the number one stand but India who is currently in second place, will have to fight hard to keep this position. That spot could be taken by either New Zealand (now fourth) or Sri Lanka (now sixth) by the end of the tournament.
