A quick recap on where the teams stand so far, Chelsea have been the only team to win all their games while Arsenal and Manchester United are at 7 points each and at the other end of the table are Stoke City and West Ham, who are yet to pick up a point this season.

We start the weekend with an early kick-off which will see Manchester United travel to Merseyside where they will take on Everton, who are currently in the bottom three but then again, in such early stages of the competition positioning doesn't really matter all that much.

After last week's results we have come to a conclusion that 6-0 is the new ‘average' when it come to goals-per- game. Anything less than that (at least from Chelsea) will scream DISASTER! (We were just joking) Though we may have expected such a score line from Chelsea and Arsenal, Newcastle definitely surprised us all.

While Birmingham City and Wolves fought hard for a win and the Cottagers worked till the very end for that well deserved point, Man City and Bolton enjoyed their football, walking coolly away with three. West Brom‘s Peter Odemwingie was a happy man after he scored the only goal of the game thus bringing home a win. This week they face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday where they hope to ply the same magic again.
