Julia Georges withdraws from Sydney International

No.7 seed Julia Gorges (GER) has withdrawn from the Sydney International due to a right knee injury. She will be replaced in the main draw by Lucky loser Carina Witthoeft (GER).

The Sydney International is part of the Emirates Australian Open Series and will take place at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre from 7-13 January 2018.
