Jose Mourinho: "I don't think we have any chance of finishing top four"

After Manchester United's top-four hopes were damaged by a 0-2 defeat against Arsenal in English Premier League, United's head coach Jose Mourinho said his side have to chase the Champions League by winning the Europa League now. Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck scored in a 2-0 win for Arsenal on Sunday to leave United four points off the Champions League places.

This was Arsene Wenger's first competitive win over Mourinho.

Chelsea, who hold a four-point lead over second-placed Tottenham, tightened their hold on the top spot with a 3-0 road win against Everton at the Goodison Park. Chelsea need nine points to secure the EPL title during Antonio Conte's first season in charge. Everton remain seventh with 58 points.

Manchester United veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic said on Monday that he will decide when it is time to stop playing football. The Swedish striker sustained a serious knee injury during Thursday's Europa League quarter-final second leg victory over Anderlecht and will be sidelined for six to eight months.

"One thing is for sure, I decide when it's time to stop and nothing else," the Swedish player said on his Instagram account.
