Key half-centuries by Dane Vilas and Morne van Wyk kept the Hollywoodbets Dolphins on course to reach the RAM SLAM T20 Challenge semi-finals thanks to a pulsating six-wicket win over the VKB Knights in their rain-hit clash in Bloemfontein on Friday.

Nearly an hour was lost at the start after the weather threatened to play spoil sport, but after the match was reduced to 17 overs per side, it delivered an excellent contest full of clean hitting and thrilling stroke play.

Knowing that only a win would suffice, the visitors first made 133 for four in 17.1 overs, before returning to defend a revised 97-run 10-over target by restricting the hosts to 92 for seven at Senwes Park.

RAM SLAM T20 Challenge: Cobras inflict first loss on Titans

RAM SLAM T20 Challenge Preview: Stakes are high for Lions and Warriors

bizhub Highveld Lions coach Geoffrey Toyana is wary of the desperate Warriors ahead of their RAM SLAM T20 Challenge showdown at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on Friday.

It is knockout time already for the Eastern Cape franchise when they travel upcountry with defeat to the hosts a non-option as it will almost certainly end their interest in the competition.

RAM SLAM T20 Challenge Preview: Cape Cobras v Multiply Titans

WSB Cape Cobras coach Ashwell Prince believes there is no reason for his side to fear the Multiply Titans ahead of their important RAM SLAM T20 Challenge encounter at PPC Newlands in Cape Town on Friday.

The defending champions have looked invincible so far in the competition, sweeping away everything in their way to lead the standings with 32 points – and secure a home semi-final with plenty of games remaining.

RAM SLAM T20 Challenge Preview: VKB Knights v Hollywoodbets Dolphins

VKB Knights coach Nicky Boje knows that only two wins will suffice when they take on the Hollywoodbets Dolphins first and then the bizhub Highveld Lions in the RAM SLAM T20 Challenge this weekend.
