With just seven weeks to go before the first ball is bowled in the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup 2012, all the 16 sides have submitted their provisional squads, with Australia naming fast bowler Pat Cummins and West Indies including opener Kraigg Brathwaite in its line-ups.

The England selectors today named a 14-man squad for England’s three match NatWest ODI series against West Indies beginning on Saturday June 16 at the Ageas Bowl. A 13-man squad for the NatWest International T20 at Trent Bridge on Sunday June 24 has also been named.

Warwickshire batsman Ian Bell is the only player included in the NatWest series squad who was not involved in England’s most recent 4-0 series win against Pakistan in February.

pak_win_wc.jpgAll 12 men's squads for the ICC World Twenty20 2010 have now been confirmed with the very best players in the world all getting ready for the big event, which gets underway in the West Indies later this month.

Defending champion Pakistan will be led by Shahid Afridi and features a strong line-up that includes the experience of Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammed Asif, Abdul Razzaq and Umar Gul along with the burgeoning talents of Umar Akmal, Saeed Ajmal and Mohammed Aamer.

boucher_kohli_brc.jpgThe excitement levels in anticipation of the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 were just kicked into high gear with the naming of the preliminary squads today.

Of the 234 players nominated by the 12 teams, 110 have already played international cricket for their respective countries. If all of these players then go on to be included in their team's respective starting XIs for the tournament from October 8-23, then more than 80% of players taking the field at the Champions League Twenty20 will have played international cricket. This should make for some mouthwatering contests, as we get to see some of the best international players in the world play alongside each other.
