Chelsea’s track record of breeding young talent and eventually witnessing their rise through their first team should have warned off most youngsters from going anywhere near Stamford Bridge by now. But the profile of the club and the money on offer proves to be irresistible to most and French teenager Adrien Rabiot is the latest to be enchanted in that long list. The PSG midfielder has taken to Ligue 1 like ketchup to fries, seamlessly slotting into Laurent Blanc’s team of superstars.
The 18 year old has a contract till 2015 but the suitors have already begun circling around the creative talent, with the Metro reporting that Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have scouted the player in recent weeks. But Chelsea are the ones going the extra mile by preparing a £10m bid for Rabiot in January, although they will allow him to complete the season at PSG.
