Brazilian winger Dani Alves has terminated his contract at Juventus after one season with the Serie A football champions. The Barcelona fullback made his move to Juventus last year after eight seasons at Camp Nou, eventually becoming one of the key players with the Bianconeri.

"Juventus Football Club is to part company with Dani Alves after agreeing to a termination of the player's contract," a statement on Juve's official website on Thursday read.

Real Madrid pounded Juventus 4-1 in the 2016-2017 Champions League final to become the first team to win Europe's elite club tournament two years in a row.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the leading scorer in the Champions League for five years running, contributed two goals as Real Madrid won the title for the 12th time here on Saturday night. The moment also belonged to Real Madrid coach Zinedane Zidane, who can point to a pair of Champions League trophies and a La Liga crown after just 18 months at the helm.

Brazilian defender Felipe is on the verge of joining Italian giants Juventus.

The Turin club has made a 30 million-euro ($33.6 million) offer to sign the 28-year-old from Porto, Brazilian news portal Globo Esporte said on Wednesday. It added that Felipe's agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, has already prepared the paperwork for the move, which will go through when Italy's summer transfer window opens in July.

Italian football heavyweights Juventus have confirmed the permanent signing of loanee winger Juan Cuadrado from English Premier League champions Chelsea for €20 million ($22.4 million) on a three-year contract.

"Juventus announces that, following the meeting of the conditions provided by the contract, its obligation to definitively acquire the registration rights of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea became due," the Turin club said in a statement on Monday.

Juventus FC on Sunday became the first club in Italy to clinch six consecutive Serie A football title after defeating Crotone 3-0.

Mario Manduzkic opened scoring for Juventus 13 minutes into the first half, while Paulo Dybala doubled the lead just before halftime, making it 2-0 at the 39th-minute mark curling a well-executed free kick into the top left corner of the goal.

Juventus defeated Lazio 2-0 to win the Coppa Italia for a record third straight year and sustain the Turin club's hopes of achieving the Treble.

Lazio, playing their third Coppa Italia final in five years, made a promising start in front of nearly 60,000 spectators at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday and gave Juventus a scare as Keita Balde Diao hit the post from close range in the seventh minute, via the hand of Juve defender Andrea Barzagli, who was a tad fortunate not to concede a penalty.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has said the Champions League final match against Juventus will be a special one.

Despite their 1-2 defeat in the semi-final return leg to Atletico Madrid, Real booked their place in the final, which will be played on June 3 in Cardiff. A close range goal from Isco three minutes before the half-time was crucial as Real entered the summit clash on 4-2 aggregate after a brilliant start by their rivals on Wednesday. For Atletico, Saul Niguez and Antoine Griezmann were the goal-scorers.
