Martin Jol is not having a good time. Fulham is lying in 18th position in the league and rumours are already circulating of him being the next Premier League manager to be sacked. Inspite of creating an experienced squad consisting of players like Dimitar Berbatov, John Arne Riise, Bryan Ruiz, Georgios Karagounis, Aaron Hughes and the recent appointment of ex-Manchester United first team coach Rene Meulensteen, Fulham are yet to show any survival spirit.
The only positive aspects of Fulham’s season are the eye catching performances of their youngsters Pajtim Kasami, Alexander Kacaniklic and the yet to be introduced to the Premier League, Moussa Dembele. The young French striker has caught the attention of English giants Manchester United and Liverpool through his performances at youth levels, and was drafted into the first team at Fulham for the first time this weekend, where he was an unused substitute in Fulham’s league defeat to Swansea City.
