Bangladesh posted 73/2 in their second innings to draw the two-day practice match against India A in Hyderabad on Monday. Tamim Iqbal (42 not out) and Mahmudullah (1 not out) were at the crease at stumps at the Gymkhana Ground.

India A playing their first innings resumed from their overnight total 91/1, trailing by 133 runs after Bangladesh on Sunday declared their first innings at 224/8. Playing through the day, India A amassed 461 for 8 before declaring in their first innings with only 15 overs left in the day.

India A posted 91/1, trailing by 133 runs against Bangladesh in the two-day warm-up game at the Gymkhana Ground on Sunday. Priyank Panchal (40) and Shreyas Iyre (29) were at the crease when umpires removed the bails for the day.

For Bangladesh, Subashis Roy took the Indian opener Abhinav Mukund, who scored 16 runs in 31 balls.

Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim on Thursday admitted it will be a challenge to face spin twins Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja when they take on India in the one-off Test in Hyderabad.

Still reeling from their series whitewash across formats against New Zealand deep down under -- Bangladesh lost three ODIs and T20Is and two Tests, Rahim rated the spin duo as the best in the world right now, and added they will play out of their skins to put up a fight.

Bangladesh will miss the services of left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman - India's prime tormentor during the men-in-blue's 2015 tour to the country - in the one-off cricket Test in Hyderabad, starting February 9.

Captain Mushfiqur Rahim and top-order batsmen Mominul Haque and Imrul Kayes, who missed the last Test against New Zealand in Christchurch with injuries, returned to the squad, along with fast bowler Shafiul Islam.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors on Tuesday recalled Tamil Nadu opening batsman Abhinav Mukund to the national team for the one-off Test against Bangladesh, to be played in Hyderabad from February 9.

Regular opener Murali Vijay, also from Tamil Nadu, made a comeback to the 16-member squad after recovering from a shoulder injury during India's fifth and final Test against England.

Left-handed batsman Imrul Kayes is working hard to get fit in time for Bangladesh's one-off Test against India next month in Hyderabad. The opener stood as wicketkeeper in place of injured Mushfiqur Rahim in the first Test against New Zealand in Wellington and then opened the Bangladesh innings.

Going for a quick run in the second innings, the 29-year-old batsman pulled a muscle on his left thigh which was later diagnosed as a small tear.
