Dynamic forward Antoine Griezmann on Sunday ruled out speculations about his leaving Atletico Madrid, insisting that it would be "dirty" to move elsewhere since the capital football club has been hit hard by a FIFA transfer ban till January 2018.

The 26-year-old French international was recently linked with a big money move to Manchester United. And the speculation over his departure increased on Thursday, after the Court of Arbitration in Sport (CAS) ruled to uphold the FIFA transfer ban which means Atletico will not be able add to their squad until January 2018.

English football giant Manchester United is holding talks with Real Madrid over a possible move for Welsh forward Gareth Bale this summer transfer window, according to a media report.

British daily The Independent, quoting multiple sources in Spain and Manchester, reported that reigning Spanish champions Real are willing to listen to offers from United for Bale and the subject has already been broached between the two clubs.

Newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions Monaco have extended veteran striker Radamel Falcao's contract until 2020, after the Colombian went through an "unbelievable season", scoring 30 goals and six assists in all competitions to revive his football career.

"Monaco are delighted to announce that the club captain and top goalscorer (21 goals in Ligue 1) has agreed a contract extension until 2020," the club said in a statement on Thursday.

Veteran midfielder Yaya Toure has signed a one-year extension with the English Premier League (EPL) football giants Manchester City after his contract expired at the end of the 2016-17 season.

City's Director of Football Txiki Begiristain said in a statement on Thursday: "Yaya has been a fantastic servant for Manchester City and continues to be a vital member of Pep Guardiola's squad. He is one of our most experienced and popular players and we couldn't be happier that he is staying with us as we embark on what we all hope will be a very exciting season.

Real Madrid's star forward Cristiano Ronaldo admitted he misses playing at his former football club Manchester United before the fans there ahead of his team's Champions League final clash against Juventus on Saturday.

Ronaldo was speaking about his frustration at being whistled at by some of his own fans. The Real forward has netted 285 goals in 241 appearances since leaving Manchester for the Spanish capital back in 2009.

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will hold talks to extend his stay at the English Premier League football club despite receiving offers from other outfits, his agent Mino Raiola has said.

"He wants to stay in England, he wants to stay at the top and if he sees that he can be a valuable asset for Manchester United, then why not Manchester United," Raiola told British radio broadcaster TalkSPORT on Wednesday.
