Wallabies Head Coach Michael Cheika has named a 30-man squad to tour South Africa and England, for Tests against the Springboks and Argentina respectively.

There are two uncapped players in the 30-man group with Rebels flyer Sefa Naivalu eligible for national selection after fulfilling his three-year residency requirement, while Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu has forced his way into the squad.

Wallabies have defeated Argentina 36 to 20 in front of 16, 202 fans at nib Stadium in Perth on Saturday night with scrumhalf Will Genia scoring two tries for Australia in a man of the match performance.

The bonus point victory was built on defence as the Wallabies capitalised on their opportunities to record their 20th win over the Pumas in 26 meetings between the two nations.

Juan Martin del Potro and Guido Pella put Argentina on the verge of Davis Cup final berth with singles victories over Britain's Andy Murray and Kyle Edmund, respectively.

The visiting Argentine squad was given a huge boost with Del Potro's return to singles, as he defeated second-ranked Murray in the dramatic and pivotal opening match of the tie, being played at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, on Friday.

The large number of qualification matches for continental competitions (26) and the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia (61) means that the September edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking contains significant movement and change.

Despite the shifts up and down the ranking however, Argentina and Belgium remain in first and second place respectively, cementing their positions at the summit of the ranking for another month. Elsewhere in the top five, Germany (3rd, up 1) and Colombia (4th, down 1) have traded places while a rejuvenated Brazil, under new coach Tite, have moved into joint fourth place thanks mainly to victories against Colombia and Ecuador in World Cup qualifiers.

Wallabies Head Coach Michael Cheika has named a 33-man squad for the upcoming Tests against South Africa and Argentina in Brisbane and Perth respectively.

Five new faces have been welcomed into the squad with Henry Speight back in the fold after travelling to Rio de Janeiro as part Australia’s rugby sevens Olympic campaign, while Sefa Naivalu will train with the team ahead of becoming eligible for the Wallabies on September 18.

Superstar Lionel Messi marked his return to the international fold by edging Argentina past Uruguay and to the top of the table in South American qualifiers for the 2018 football World Cup.

Despite their defeat on Thursday, the Uruguayans head the pack as one of the three teams that lie neck and neck in the remaining automatic qualification places, just a point behind the leaders.
