Portuguese player Luis Nani, who recently joined Valencia from Turkish side Fenerbahce, has become the sixth Portuguese player to join the ranks of the Spanish football club in the last five seasons.

Before Nani's arrival, Valencia signed five of his Portuguese compatriots over the past five years, namely, Joao Pereira, Ruben Vezo, Joao Cancelo, Andre Gomes and Helder Postiga, reports Efe. Having taken Portugal into the final of the Euro 2016 football tournament with an excellent second-half performance against Wales, star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to win this year's title, finally avenging the loss in the 2004 edition final.

Ronaldo earned the man of the match award in the 2-0 win over Wales in Wednesday's semi-final by scoring Portugal's first goal and coming up with an assist for Nani to score the second.
