The fourth and final test between India and Australia in Delhi is tantalizingly poised with the hosts eking out a negligible 4 run lead at the end of Day 2 with 2 wickets still in hand. The Australian tail continued to wag this morning, and took their score to 262 before India got their turn with the bat. The Indian openers Murali Vijay (57) and Cheteshwar Pujara (52) both made half-centuries and posted a century stand before off-spinner Nathan Lyon spun the game Australia's way. Ravindra Jadeja's 43 late in the day helped India squeeze out a lead, but Lyon struck with the last ball of the day to take a 5-fer to keep the game very much in the balance.

India needed almost 40 minutes on Saturday morning to wrap up the Australian innings with Peter Siddle falling shortly after bringing up what was an excellent half-century, bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin having played down the wrong line. Ashwin picked up yet another 5-wicket haul, his 9th in India.
