Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has finalised his bench for the Test against France at Stade de France in Paris on Sunday morning (7.00am AEDT kick-off).

Taqele Naiyaravoro will wear the 23 jersey in what's set to be his third Test, with number eight Lopeti Timani dropping out of the squad.

French tennis player Amelie Mauresmo has announced that she will quit as captain of the French women's tennis team because she is expecting her second child.

The 37-year-old explained at a press conference on Monday that she is going to leave the captaincy of France for personal reasons.

The U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team drew 0-0 with reigning European Under-19 champions France to open Group C play at the 2016 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup.

The USA will face New Zealand in its next Group C match on Nov. 17 at PNG Football Stadium (4 a.m. ET on FS1 and NBC Universo). In the other Group C game, New Zealand defeated Ghana 1-0 on an 89th minute goal and currently leads the group after one match day.

England defeated Scotland 3-0 in the fourth round of the European qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup even as France had to come from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Sweden. Defending champions Germany, meanwhile, pummeled San Marino 8-0 on Friday to remain perfect in the competition.

The English prevailed at Wembley through goals by Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Gary Cahill to claim the top spot in Group F with 10 points, two ahead of Slovenia, who eked out a 1-0 win away at Malta. Slovakia vaulted over Lithuania into third place in the group with a 4-0 defeat of the Baltic side, who have five points.

The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) received confirmation today that SBS will broadcast the Qantas Wallabies Spring Tour Test matches against France (20 November) and England (4 December).

The France and England Test matches will be shown LIVE and in high definition on SBS and will also be streamed online for free via SBS On Demand.

Former Manchester United skipper Patrice Evra was on Monday called up by France's football squad to replace the injured Layvin Kurzawa.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Kurzawa underwent a medical examination on Monday at France camp outside Paris, while the medical staff recommended the exclusion of the 24-year-old from his national team.

Former France footballer Emmanuel Petit feels Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not stand up to the physical challenge of the Premier League in the way legend Eric Cantona did at the English club.

Ibrahimovic, 35, has not scored in his last five league outings for United, and has found the back of the net just once in his last nine games in all competitions.
