Victoria Bushrangers bring Delhi Daredevils to their knees in CLT20

The Victoria Bushrangers put on a bowling master-class on an exceptionally low and slow Feroz Shah Kotla track restricting the Delhi Daredevils to just 98 runs in 20 overs, and chased down the target with ease to record a comprehensive 7 wicket win with 20 balls to spare in the opening Group D game in the Champions League T20.

Delhi, under the new leadership of Gautam Gambhir were without some marquee players with AB de Villiers, Daniel Vettori and Paul Collingwood all pulling out of the competition due to injury. New South Wales tame the Eagles in the CLT20

New South Wales captain Simon Katich led from the front to register a convincing 53 run win over the Diamond Eagles from South Africa. The Diamond Eagles, a side low on international exposure, were completely overpowered by a world c

ipl_final_pic3.jpgWith the imminent naming of the initial 20-player squads for the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20), the CLT20 Governing Council has today clarified the rules relating to players who have qualified for multiple teams.

If the player then decides to play for an 'away' team rather than his 'home' team (the team from the country he is eligible to represent in international cricket), the 'away' team must pay US$200,000
