West beats East 196-173 in highest scoring All Star Game ever

Kobe Bryant said his NBA All-Star Game goodbye and the next generation of the West's best sent him off a winner, rolling to a record-setting 196-173 victory over the East on Sunday night.

The first All-Star Game outside the U.S. was the highest-scoring ever, with both teams scoring more than any team had ever managed. Bryant didn't provide much of the offense but many of the memories.

NBA: Rockets cruise past the Heat 115-102

James Harden has long been known as a great scorer. Lately. Houston's star has been shining as a facilitator, too.

Harden scored 26 points and tied a career-high with 14 assists as the Rockets snapped a three-game skid with a 115-102 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

It was the second time in eight games that Harden has had 14 assists and he's had 10 or more in two other games in that stretch.

NBA: Kobe Bryant rescues Lakers one more time

Kobe Bryant has lifted the Los Angeles Lakers onto his shoulders countless times over the past two decades, and he rarely flinches under the weight.

Even during a demoralizing losing streak in his farewell season, the 37-year-old superstar summoned his skills to carry the team one more time.

Bryant hit seven 3-pointers while scoring a season-high 38 points, and the Lakers snapped their 10-game skid with a 119-115 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

NBA: Curry, Warriors spoil Kobe's farewell in Oakland, 116-98

Before he walked through the tunnel and out of Oracle Arena for the final time, Kobe Bryant stopped for a quick chat with Stephen Curry. Curry congratulated Bryant, who offered his own kind words.

Curry scored 26 points, with his first eight baskets coming on 3-pointers, and the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 116-98 Thursday night in what was likely Bryant's last game in Oakland.

NBA: Spurs beat Cavaliers 99-95 for 32nd straight win at home

The Cleveland Cavaliers gave San Antonio another tense test at home before the Spurs rose up on defense for what they deemed their biggest win of the season.

Tony Parker had 24 points and San Antonio used a furious start to the fourth quarter to beat Cleveland 99-95 on Thursday night, remaining undefeated at home and avenging their previous loss in their own arena.
