NBA: Spurs beat Pistons 109-99 for ninth straight win

The Detroit Pistons learned the same lesson Tuesday night that they were taught in the 2005 NBA Finals. If you let up against the San Antonio Spurs, you are in serious trouble.

The Spurs outscored Detroit 57-41 in the second and third quarters, then held off a Pistons rally in the fourth quarter to win 109-99.


NBA: LeBron has 27, Cavs win 8th in row, 110-107 over Mavs in OT

LeBron James had 27 points and the go-ahead layup in overtime, Kyrie Irving added 22 points and some big 3-pointers and the Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning streak to eight games with a 110-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

James’ layup with a minute left in overtime pushed the Cavs ahead 106-105. After an attempted 3 by Deron Williams rattled out for Dallas, Irving beat the shot clock with a 3-pointer from the top of the key.


NBA: CJ McCollum scores 35 as Trail Blazers beat Kings 98-94

Overshadowed the last two years when he played behind a pair of seasoned guards, CJ McCollum has blossomed into a rising star for the Portland Trail Blazers.

McCollum had 35 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists to lead the Blazers to a 98-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.


NBA: Westbrook rallies Thunder past Nuggets 122-112

Enes Kanter is listed at 6-foot-11 but is known as an "under-the-rim" player, teammate Kevin Durant says. He sure overpowered the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

Kanter, Oklahoma City's backup center, scored 11 of his 21 points in a five-minute span that featured two powerful dunks that gave the Thunder the momentum and helped lift them past the Nuggets, 122-112.


Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program in over 180 BMC Schools

Reliance Foundation and the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program, a comprehensive youth basketball initiative that applies the values of basketball to positively impact the lives of Indian boys and girls, expects to engage more than 1.5 million boys and girls and 2,700 physical education instructors and coaches in 2015-16.  The Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program tipped of at Goshala Municipal School, Mulund (W) today with “Train The Trainers” program.  From December 9, 2015, the program will tip off at Dominic Savio School, Andheri East with over private 100 schools participating.
