The stage is set for the inaugural Buildcorp Super W Final with arch rivals NSW Women and Queensland Women to meet at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on Friday 20 April.

The match will be played alongside the NSW Waratahs when they take on the Lions from Johannesburg, with the Buildcorp Super W Final to kick off at 4.45pm AEST.

Queensland will enter the match as underdogs despite having only lost one match during the Super W season, and that was at the hands of NSW Women in round one of the competition (18-0).

Rugby Australia Chief Executive, Raelene Castle said: “We have seen some fantastic Rugby in the first season of Buildcorp Super W and I know the final won’t disappoint as both team’s fight to be champions.

“I know Rugby fans will really get behind this game by coming to Allianz Stadium or watching the match LIVE on FOX SPORTS and we wish both teams the best in their final preparations.”

Buildcorp Wallaroos Head Coach, Dwayne Nestor said: “As a coach I have been really impressed with the whole competition and I know the Final won’t disappoint.

“We have seen the steady improvement of all teams and there are some genuine selection battles going on to make the Buildcorp Wallaroos extended squad.

“There will be no love lost between NSW and Queensland as you’d expect, and I can’t wait to see what the teams bring when they run out at Allianz Stadium.”
