Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been advised by the senior players in his team to go ahead and make a move to sign Joe Hart from Manchester City, should Thibaut Courtois move to Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports in The Sun.

The Belgian ace, who has been consistently rated as being among the most highly rated shotstoppers of his generation, is known to be a key target for Los Blancos for quite a while now. And with the former Atletico Madrid man himself wishful of moving to Spain to live with his partner and daughter, Real may try to make the most of the situation by landing him at the Santiago Bernabeu in the days to come.

Hart, meanwhile, has been promising in his displays on loan at Torino this season, after being axed by new manager Pep Guardiola. However, the Serie A side have made it clear that they would not be able to afford the Englishman’s wages post this season, which will make it imperative for the shotstopper to move back to his club this summer.

It is believed that the Citizens may try to resolve Hart’s future once and for all, which in turn indicates that the Blues will have a chance of signing him this summer. However, they will have to beat off competition from Liverpool for his services, with their boss Jurgen Klopp also known to be a huge admirer of the Englishman. Additionally, with Claudio Bravo being prone to errors this season, Hart may even have a fighting chance of reclaiming his spot in City’s starting XI.
