Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Daredevils on Thursday released promising batsman Mayank Agarwal to Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) for the upcoming edition of the cricket league, starting from April 5. 25 year old Mayank had previously played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The attacking right-hander is the first player to be traded in the second trading window of IPL 2017, which was open from January 13 to 20, according to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release.

The youngster has struggled for form in the Ranji Trophy this season, making just the 3 half-centuries in 13 innings. His highest score of 81 came against Rajasthan.

His T20 record though has been pretty impressive over the years, averaging nearly 23 with a strike rate in excess of 127, bringing him close to that 150 mark, considered the magic number to gauge performances in that format.
