Eleven International Broadcasters from across the continent will be televising the Chia 2016 SPAR European Cross Country Championships this weekend.

National Broadcasters in Belgium, Finland, Ireland, host country Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom plan to show more than 20 hours of live or delayed coverage of the championships' 23rd edition.

"This strong television coverage confirms the value broadcasters attach to the SPAR European Cross Country Championships," said European Athletics President Svein Arne Hansen.

European Athletics will also stream live on the www.european-athletics.org homepage the SPAR European Cross Country Championships on 11 December with English-language commentary.

Athletics fans around the world will be able to watch the championships live in their entirety.
