Federer falls to 9th in latest ATP Rankings

Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic retained top spot with 12,900 points in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings released on Monday. Scotland's Andy Murray is at second spot with 10,985 points while Japanese Kei Nishikori climbed to fourth place, pushing Canadian Milos Raonic down to fifth. Swiss great Roger Federer fell to ninth place, while French Gael Monfils rose to seventh place.

Germany's Angelique Kerber meanwhile continued to top the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings with 9,080 points. Serena Williams of the US is at second spot with 7,050 points, while Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova jumped from the eighth place to the fifth place after her recent WTA Finals win.

The current ATP rankings and point scores are as follows:
