Draxler completes move to Wolfsburg

Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal have missed out on the chance to sign Julian Draxler, with Schalke having sold him to domestic rivals Wolfsburg. It is believed that the youngster has put pen to paper on a five year deal with the Wolves, with the club known to be considering him as the ideal replacement for their departed star Kevin De Bruyne. The amount of the transfer bid, meanwhile, has not been disclosed. (read more)

 

Man United sell Javier Hernandez after five year-long association

Manchester United have sold their highly rated forward Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen, with the player putting pen to paper on a three year contract at the Bundesliga side. It is further believed that the Red Devils have pocketed a transfer fee of around £7-9m from the sale of the Mexican ace.

Hernandez was believed to be a part of manager Louis van Gaal’s first team plans before his disappointing show against Club Brugge in the Champions League playoffs round last week, which in turn is believed to have convinced the boss into parting ways with him. (read more)

Januzaj moves on loan to Dortmund

Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj has joined Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on loan till the end of this season, according to reports in the press. It is further believed that the German giants also have the option of making the player’s move to Signal Iduna Park permanent, if they wish to, next summer.

Speaking to reporters after his move to the club, Januzaj said: “Borussia Dortmund is a big club and the fans are supposed to be unbelievable here. I want to achieve big things with this team.”

The player was expected to remain at Old Trafford as part of manager Louis van Gaal’s first team plans, before the Dutchman made the shock decision to loan him out. (read more)

Lindegaard moves to West Bromwich Albion for free

Manchester United have parted ways with their goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, with the player moving to West Bromwich Albion on a free transfer. The Danish ace has put pen to paper on a two year contract at The Hawthorns, with him joining former teammates Darren Fletcher and Jonny Evans at the club. (read more)

Liverpool sell Fabio Borini to Sunderland

Liverpool have sold their flop forward Fabio Borini to Sunderland, according to reports in the press. It is believed that the Black Cats have splashed out £7.75m up front for the player, with the value of the transfer likely to rise up to £9.75m with add-ons.

Chelsea have parted ways with the duo of youngsters Lucas Piazon and Jeremie Boga, temporarily of course. According to reports in the press, Piazon has moved to Championship side Reading on loan for the 2015-16 season. Reds sign Taiwo Awoniyi, send him and two more players out on loan

Liverpool have completed the signing of Nigerian sensation Taiwo Awoniyi from Imperial Soccer Academy, according to reports in the press. And the Reds are also reported to have sent the player on loan to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for the rest of the season, with the club yet to obtain a work permit for the youngster.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that the Merseyside giants have loaned off Samed Yesil to FC Luzern and Sergi Canos to Brentford. While Yesil has moved on a season-long loan to the Swiss side, Canos has only moved to the Championship club till January. (read more)
