Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has agreed to put pen to paper on a new four year deal at Stamford Bridge. And club captain John Terry is certainly delighted with that.

The Englishman was quoted telling the London Evening Standard: “It’s great news for the club but terrible news for everybody else because the other managers know that he finds ways to beat teams, he knows people inside out, on and off the pitch. Whether you’re a player or manager, he does his groundwork. He knows everything.”

Terry pointed out that the Special One has a lot of records against great clubs and managers in the English top flight, and that is what must be playing on their minds right now. He also said that the event of Mourinho signing a new contract at Chelsea is just like a high profile player signing for a big club.

The Englishman also said that the news is an excellent one for the club too, as it will bring stability to the side. He also said that the boss is loved at the west London club for all that he’s done for them.

The 34 year old then went on to reveal that Mourinho demands the very best from all his players on a daily basis, which is why he is the best in his trade in world. He said that the boss keeps striving for more and more success, and keeps pushing players, whilst eliciting the best out of them.

Terry added that the Special One has not changed from his first spell at Chelsea, and that his hunger to win games and trophies is still amazing. He pointed out that the boss hates losing games or conceding goals even during training sessions, which is what makes him the phenomenal manager that he is.
