Arsenal travel to Monaco for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 fixture tonight.

The first leg match between the sides at the Emirates Stadium late last month ended in a 3-1 victory for the French side, which in turn leaves the Gunners with the Herculean task of having to score 3 goals against one of the best defences in Europe to qualify for the next round.

Arsenal have never lost a two-legged fixture against French teams, playing 4 and winning on all those occasions.

Taking about the teams, Monaco are without Tiemoue Bakayoko, Lacina Traore and Andrea Raggi. However, they have Jeremy Toulalan and Geoffrey Kondogbia making it to the starting XI after their recuperation from their respective injuries. Fabinho has gone back into the defence, and Almamy Toure has been benched. Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco is also among the subs.

On the other hand, Arsenal are without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Chuba Akpom. However, they welcome back Gabriel Paulista from his hamstring injury, with the player making it to the bench. Other than that, the manager has made just one chance from the first leg game, bringing in Nacho Monreal for Kieran Gibbs.
