Portland Trail Blazers 118 V Toronto Raptors 110

The Portland Trail Blazers continued their solid start to the season, winning their sixth game in a row, defeating the Toronto Raptors, 118-110 at the Air Canada Centre in overtime on Sunday. The Blazers had a balanced attack with three starters scoring 24 points or more with Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge scoring 25 and Nicolas Batum adding a season-high 24 points.

 

Memphis Grizzlies 97 V Sacramento Kings 86

After a rough start to the season, the Memphis Grizzlies improved to 5-5 on the season and have now won the first two games on their four game road trip out west.  Memphis (5-5) walked into Sacramento and handed the Kings (2-7) their seventh loss in their last eight games by the final of 97-86. The Grizzlies led by as many as 20 points in this one, but had to fight off a late charge from the Kings second unit to get the win.

 

LA Lakers 114 V Detroit Pistons 99

Lakers forward Jordan Hill posted a career-high point total for the second time in five days, finishing with 24 points to help his side win 114 – 99 against the Pistons. Hill not only posted a career-high point total, but also contributed a career-best 17 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers pulled away in the second half to beat the Detroit Pistons 114-99 at Staples Center.
