Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, affectionately called Nani, has become a sort of an enigma in Manchester. He has the ability to decide the fate of the match single-handedly on his day but can someday turn in the worst performances in England. His inconsistencies have become his downfall despite some stellar showings. The man who was supposed to be Ronaldo’s replacement at Old Trafford, never really lived up to the expectations despite being voted Manchester United’s Players’ player of the year in 2010-11 season. Now, Monaco are all set to offer the Red Devils 20 million pounds to join the recently promoted French club.

David Moyes would be willing to sell the consistently inconsistent player and can use the cash obtained in the transfer to boost his summer budget to 80 million pounds. The winger will join Colombia's Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, and his own compatriot Joao Moutinho at big spending Monaco. The deal looks beneficial to all parties as the Portuguese looks surplus at Old Trafford and will hope to rejuvenate his career at a new club with more starting opportunities, something which Monaco can provide.

26 year old Nani joined United from Sporting Lisbon in 2007 and despite notching up well over 200 appearances is well under 50 goals in his United career. The Portuguese star had a particularly poor 2012-13 season where he managed to get into Sir Alex Ferguson's starting eleven just 7 times.

PSG also seem to be holding an interest in the Portuguese international, who has made 62 appearances for his national team scoring 13 times. A bidding war between the two budding French giants would be welcome news to Man United.
