Chelsea have not exactly been known for their youth academy, but it is without a doubt as good as any other. They have good facilities and coaches which help the average youth player grow in the hope that they one day challenge on the world stage. Notable former Chelsea youth products who have made it big are John Terry, Fabio Borini, Nemanja Matic, Scott Sinclair, Jeffrey Bruma, Ryan Bertrand, etc. A lot of the players in the academy are also showing immense promise too like Nathan Ake and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Now a 15 year old player Kyle Scott, as reported by the Daily Mail, has attracted interest from European big wigs Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid. He is yet to sign a professional contract with Chelsea and these clubs are trying to tempt the talented youngster, who can play in midfield or defence, to their superior training academies in the hope that he will one day make it with the big boys.
Scott recently got his chance to play for the England U16s on February 13th this year against Germany. A 7 goal thriller that went the way of the Germans. Chelsea will be hoping to prevent the player’s move to their rival clubs at the European stage and keep him in their academy.
