Theo Walcott is set for a bumper new deal at Arsenal if he intends to stay at the Emirates as the Daily Mail reports that the contract-rebel has been offered an improved deal worth £25 million that will see wages climb to around £90,000-a-week and £3 million sign-on bonus. Arsenal are confident they can retain the player with this new 5-year contract that will douse any hopes Manchester Untied and Chelsea had of signing him.
Manchester United look set to pip their Premier league rivals for Crystal palace forward Wilfried Zaha as the Telegraph believes that Tottenham have distanced themselves from the player as Zaha looks Old Trafford-bound forcing several other clubs to stop their pursuit of the highly-rated attacker. A deal for £12 million is set to be agreed between United and Palace with the Championship side keeping Zaha till the end of the season.
Manchester City were hoping to sell ‘bad boy’ Mario Balotelli but instead could be listening to offers for Edin Dzeko as the Daily Mail reports that Inter Milan are weighing up a £25 million move for the striker. City would want to find a replacement first before letting go of Dzeko but signing target Edinson Cavani could prove to be a hassle with his £50 million valuation.
Premier League clubs Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham could all be trumped by Turkish giants Galatasaray for the signature of Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder as the Daily Mail reports that the Turkish side have opened talks with Inter over the possibility of signing Sneijder, who is available on the cheap in January following his bust-up with the manager but has reportedly attracted less attention due to his enormous wages. The Sun also carries reports supporting Galatasaray's approach for Sneijder.
Chelsea and Tottenham are set to be dealt a major blow in the transfer market as the Metro claims that Malaga are unwilling to sell their star player Isco who has been monitored by the London duo and the Spanish side will reject all bids they will receive for the player.
Arsene Wenger has been chasing Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila for close to an year now and was offered the player by his club for a cut-price deal of £8 million in January but the Metro claims that the Arsenal manager has closed all doors for M’Vila to join the Emirates over his disciplinary issues.

Sir Alex Ferguson is preparing an audacious double swoop from the Chelsea dressing room as the Sun claims that the Manchester United manager wants Ashley Cole to join Frank Lampard at Old Trafford on a 12-month deal which would be extendable if everything goes well at the end of the season when his contract expires. Lampard is reported to be interested in the move while Cole has options in Paris St. Germain who are willing to offer more money.
Liverpool could finally land former player Tom Ince from Blackpool after the Daily Mail reported that the two clubs have had a breakthrough in negotiations and a deal could be signed for £6 million, Swansea reportedly made an enquiry for the player but were put-off by the asking price and Liverpool are close to sealing the deal.
Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly ready to battle it out with each other for the signatures of teenage strikers Hervin Ongenda and Marko Dabro as the Metro reports that Chelsea are expected to lodge bids for the duo in the next couple of days while Juventus are also said to be monitoring the pair.
The Metro also claims that Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal for Lazio defender Modibo Diakite after a successful second round of negotiations as manager Brendan Rodgers is looking for replacements for Jamie Carragher who is set to retire at the end of the season while Diakite’s contract expires in the summer.
Tottenham have been the surprise movers in the transfer window this month with move for Lewis Holtby and could add Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda to their ranks as the Metro believes the club have opened talks with the French side for the player who has expressed his desire to leave in January. Arsenal, Liverpool, Inter Milan and Fenerbache are also said to be chasing Belhanda.

Sunderland are said to have completed the deal to sign defensive midfielder Alfred N’Diaye from Bursaspor and the Guardian reports that Sunderland are looking to register the player in time to be available for this weekend’s game against West Ham.

After earning big bucks in the MLS with LA Galaxy, David Beckham could be set for another money trail as the Sun reports that the midfielder has been offered a bumper 2-year deal to join the Qatar Stars League as he is currently looking at options. Beckham has also been linked with West Ham and QPR, and has reportedly registered his kids in a London school, making the possibility of settling abroad again look unlikely.
