The KFC T20 Big Bash League has joined the biggest sporting leagues in the world with Twitter launching a BBL Get Started page to make it easier than ever for fans to follow Australia's hottest summer entertainment.

The page can be found at:

The launch puts the BBL in the same company as the NFL, NBA, MLB and the English Premier League with a page dedicated to helping fans find and connect with their favourite teams and players on Twitter.

"Of the dozens of sports competitions, Twitter chose the BBL to launch its first Get Started page in the southern hemisphere," League manager Anthony Everard said.

"This endorsement from Twitter is due to the BBL's strong fan engagement, particularly with the league's target audience of teens, women and families.

"The league and teams might be just one season old but they've already made a huge impact on Twitter with a willingness to connect with fans and take their loyal followers into the inner sanctum."

The Get Started page makes it easy for fans to find the league, teams and players, and keep up to date with breaking news, behind-the-scenes stories, starting lineups, exclusive photos and insights.

Below each team logo on the page there's also a link to a list of players on Twitter, letting fans follow them with the click of a button.

The BBL's players have embraced Twitter with almost 100 of the league's biggest names sharing their personal insights and taking fans behind the scenes like never before.

Twitter and the BBL's Get Started page is the perfect place to keep up to date with all the action over the six roller-coaster weeks of the league.
