Nicklas Bendtner joined Italian champions Juventus on a season-long loan this summer but the Dane has failed to make an impact in the Serie A. There are widespread rumours that Arsenal could move to offload the underperforming striker next summer and the 24 year-old has refused to rule out a move to Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, revealed Sky Sports.

The Danish international is an Arsenal youth product and had been an integral part of their first team till an injury in the 2010 World Cup sidelined him for four months. The striker has failed to regain his first team place since and spent last season on loan at Sunderland. This season, he joined Juve on loan but after managing just 2 starts, the Italian club seem unlikely to sign him on permanently while Arsenal might also put him up for sale.

Bendtner told Danish website bold.dk, “I can't rule out clubs due to where I might have been in the past. It might not be the best idea but if the project matches my ambitions I would have to be interested. I still have a great relationship with London, which is a city that I adore.”

Jermain Defoe has been performing consistently well for Spurs this season while Emmanuel Adebayor has failed to emulate his form from last season and AVB could consider buying the unwanted striker in a cut-price deal to add depth to his squad. Bendtner is also willing to follow in the footsteps of former teammates William Gallas and Emmanuel Adebayor and make the move to White Hart Lane, as he looks to continue his career in London.

The one question mark about the move remains his rather acrimonious relationship with Adebayor, with the strikers having a major fallout while they were both still contracted to the Gunners, and it seems very unlikely that they would want to work together again.

Bendtner's relationship with the Arsenal fans meanwhile is well past its mending stage, and they would be largely indifferent to the idea of the underperforming Dane joining Spurs, in fact could relish the idea of having some new to boo!
