Castrol Power1 supported rider of San Carlo Honda Gresini team, Alvaro Bautista, met some of India's most passionate bikers in New Delhi, as part of the Castrol Power1 Ride to MotoGP campaign.

As part of the campaign, Castrol Power1 asked Indian bikers what they would do to 'Ride To MotoGP'. Bikers expressed their passion for MotoGP by posting videos and through a Facebook application, which saw 20,000 users and 1,735 entries.

Castrol Power1 also engaged with a community of over 5,00,000 bikers nationwide, through a virtual journey on motorcycle racing and Castrol's century long association with the same. Passionate bikers were also invited for live screenings of MotoGP 2012 races.

The winners of the Castrol Power1 Ride to MotoGP contest will experience the thrill of seeing a MotoGP race live at Sepang later this month, with Castrol Power1 Brand Ambassador John Abraham. They will also be cheering for Alvaro Bautista who looks to clinch yet another podium position this season, the latest being the third place finish at Motegi circuit in Japan last weekend.

Thrilled with the recent podium win and his first visit to India, Alvaro Bautista, shares, "This has been a great weekend for me and I am delighted to be in India. It's impressive to see the passion for biking and interest in motorsports amongst riders in India. Castrol Power1 is doing a great job of fuelling the passion of Indian bikers. For us on the racetrack, Castrol Power1 is the most trusted engine oil for high performance bikes. Castrol has been working very closely with the San Carlo Honda Gresini team over the years, providing cutting edge technology lubricants which can be trusted to provide maximum acceleration and superior overall performance." Bautista also said that he was looking forward to ride competitively in India in future.
