The word 'friendly' doesn't feature in most people's vocabulary in conjunction with Arsenal and Chelsea, however, if reports in the Sun are to be believed, the Gunners will be hosting just such a game at their training facility in London Colney in an attempt to give some of their star players returning to action after prolonged injuries an opportunity to get some game time under their belt.
The star attraction for that game will continue to be young England midfielder Jack Wilshere, on the mend after having spent 14 months on the sidelines. The 20-year old Gunner has had two outings under his belt for the Under 21s against West Brom and Reading, and was instrumental in Arsenal's win in the second of those two games, picking up assists for both of Arsenal's goals.
In addition to giving Wilshere some playing time, fellow midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong and veteran right back Bacary Sagna will also play in that game.
The Sun concludes its interesting finding by declaring that Wilshere will return to first team action in the Captial One Cup against Reading at the end of the month should his rehabilitation continue as planned.
