Brazil’s hottest young prospect Neymar has considered the possibility of a move to Paris Saint Germain and even expressed his delight at the possibility of partnering Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the French club, revealed ESPN Soccernet.
Barcelona are front-runners to snap up the player with some rumours even suggesting that the Catalans already have an agreement in place to take the player to Camp Nou in the future. Real Madrid and Chelsea are other clubs that have shown a keen interest in signing the 20 year-old prodigy.
When asked if he would consider a move to PSG, the Brazilian replied, “Maybe. It would be a great honour, but I am very happy at Santos. Ibrahimovic is one of the best players in the world today and I dream to play with major players.â€
Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro recently rebuffed the rumours of an agreement with Barca and admitted that he regarded the Ligue 1 giants highly, saying, “If Neymar comes to me and asks for advice on PSG, I would definitely recommend going there.â€
The young forward is wanted by several top clubs across Europe and he could trigger a bidding war when he chooses to quit Santos, possibly after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. With PSG willing to flaunt their riches, France appears to be a possible destination for the highly-rated Brazilian.
