South Africa skipper Chad Bowes slammed an unbeaten 101 to lead his side to a thrilling six wickets win over Bangladesh with one ball to spare on the second and final day of the warm-up matches. Bowes effort laced with six boundaries helped South Africa overhaul Bangladesh's total of 213 all out. South Africa ended at 214 for six in 49.5 overs.
Earlier, Bangladesh had useful contributions from the top-order. But it was Al-Amin with a knock of 60 off 73 balls with five boundaries and a six who held the innings together.
For South Africa Vincent Moore (2-5), Solo Nqweni (2-46) and Corne Dry (2-24) were the key wicket-takers.
In its reply, South Africa skipper Bowes carried his bat right through. Al-Amin (2-42) and Noor Hussain (2-48) were the main wicket-takers for Bangladesh.
