The South African Football Association (SAFA) wishes to announce that Bafana Bafana will play an international friendly match against the Teranga Lions of Senegal. The clash will take place on Wednesday, 29 February 2012 in Durban.

"We have concluded an agreement with Senegal and the match will take place on 29 February. It will be an evening match and the exact kick off time will be determined after consultation with the SABC," said SAFA CEO Dr Robin Petersen.

SAFA is also pleased to announce that it has concluded an agreement with eThekwini Municipality to host this match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"We need to thank the eThekwini Municipality, the Mayor and all those involved in making sure this high-profile game is played at this magnificent football theatre. It should be an exciting game and we hope football fans come in their thousands to witness what should be a great spectacle," added Dr. Petersen.
