The Australian Open’s global appeal continues to grow, with the 2012 tournament attracting record crowds and an increased international viewing audience, particularly in the emerging Asian markets. As we look forward to what promises to be a blockbuster men’s final, event organisers announced a multi-year extension to the current agreement with our associate sponsor Rolex.

“Rolex has been aligned with the Australian Open since 2008 and an associate sponsor since 2010 and we are delighted this world-class prestige brand has decided to extend the relationship,” Tennis Australia CEO Steve Wood said.

“This is a clear recognition of the value of the partnership to both our event and Rolex, an association we are very proud of. We look forward to continuing this mutually beneficial relationship in the years to come.”
