Even with the Royal Rumble just around the corner, the WWE Universe has been kept busy with some serious issues which must be resolved much sooner than the big Pay-Per-View. With that in mind, here's what lies in store for the fans in India this week's:

RAW (Thursday 6: 30 pm/ 10:30 pm IST):

Kane took his animosity with John Cena to unprecedented heights when he tried to pull Zack Ryder beneath the ring, 'into the depths of hell' as he put it himself. Kane's attempts at making Cena 'embrace the hate' have been unsuccessful so far, and it will be interesting to see to what extent the Big Red Monster is willing to go before Cena finally breaks and accepts the fact that his Cenation has deserted him. But Cena will be having his hands full as he faces Dolph Ziggler in a singles match in the main event, and he will have to keep watching his back if he wants to focus on his game, and try to get some of his old fan base back.

Every year, the Royal Rumble is symbolic in the way that it signals the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania. And WrestleMania is unique in itself because the night before the main event, the WWE honours legends from the past in the annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The first two inductees in the WWE elite will be announced this week, and the fans are eagerly waiting to see which one of their favourite legends will join the class of 2012.

The WWE Champion CM Punk will have a lot on his plate as he faces of against Jack Swagger, who will be accompanied to the ring by Vickie Guerrero for sure. But the huge motivating factor for Punk will be the fact that if he can defeat Swagger, Swagger and Guerrero will be banned from ringside when Punk defends his title against Dolph Ziggler at the Royal Rumble. Keeping in mind the fact that John Lauranitis has put himself in the position of special guest referee, the Second City Savior will want to do all that he can to level the playing field.

The Miz is supposedly looking for 'private protection' as he looks to save his back from the continuous attacks by R-Truth, who has been haunting him for the past few weeks, ever since his return from injury. It will be interesting to see if the Miz can pull off a trick or two as his former tag team partner keeps trying to unleash hell on him.

And finally, watch out for your favourtie SmackDown superstars who will be a part of the night, as Daniel Bryan will face Kofi Kingston in a non-title match, and Sheamus will team up with Santino Marella to take on the team of Wade Barrett and Jindar Mahal. Also, the winner of NXT season2, Brodus Clay makes his much-awaited Raw debut as he squares off against Kurt Hawkins.

All this and much more this week on Raw.

SMACKDOWN (Friday 6:60 pm/ 10:30 pm IST):

Big Show has some serious unfinished business with Daniel Bryan, as the World Heavyweight Championship match between the two ended in a disqualification when Mark Henry got involved in the proceedings. This week, however, the two meet again with the title on the line in a no-disqualification, no count-out match. What this means is that the champion loses the advantage he would have carried in a normal match (the title can't change hands by DQ/ count-out). Will the giant finally get his hands on gold? Or will the American Dragon retain his prized championship? We will find out on SmackDown.

The intercontinental champion, Cody Rhodes is on cloud nine after he successfully retained his belt against Booker T for the second time last week on SmackDown. And now he has his sights set on the Royal Rumble, attempting to recreate the Ultimate Warrior's historic feat by being the second intercontinental champion to win the Rumble and the WWE Championship at the main event in WrestleMania. But before that, he must focus on the task at hand as he faces off against the former champion, Ezekiel Jackson in a non-title match. Ever since losing the belt, Jackson has been struggling to find his winning ways, and it will be the perfect opportunity for him to re-assert himself as a formidable competitor on the roster.

Sheamus will take on Jindar Mahal once more in singles contest as he looks for some serious retribution after Mahal's ambush on the Celtic Warrior last week on Raw. Also, Drew McIntyre gets one more opportunity to prove his worth to the General Manager as he faces Santino Marella. For all this and lots more of pure wrestling action, tune in this Friday to SmackDown.

NXT (Sunday 6:30 pm/ 10:30 pm IST):

The Usos face off against Tyson Kidd and JTG in a battle of the pros, and Johnny Curtis takes on Alex Riley in another action-packed episode of NXT: Redemption.
