The WWE Universe is all set for one of the most explosive Pay-Per-View events of the year, as TLC draws closer with every passing week. With that in mind, here's what lies in store for the fans in India on the flagship shows:

RAW (Thursday 5 pm/ 9:30 pm IST):

The WWE Championship was successfully retained by CM Punk against Alberto Del Rio last week, and now it might be time to decide a new #1 Contender for the most prestigious prize in sports entertainment. A bunch of superstars including John Cena, US Champion Dolph Ziggler and the Miz are all gunning for a shot at being the top dog of the industry, and now it is up to the interim General Manager John Lauranitis to decide the next challenger, and we can rest assured that CM Punk will be watching very carefully, as he prepares for his newest opponent.

While all the above superstars will have the WWE Championship shot as their first priority on the show, John Cena has a whole other issue to address, and that is the recent change in attitude of his loyal fans towards him. Ever since Cena got hit by the Rock Bottom at Survivor Series, people have been booing him wherever he goes. And his recent attempts at regaining his popularity (aided by Mick Foley and 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper) have only angered the audience to a greater extent. What will the Cenation Commander-in-Chief have to say to his followers this week? We will find out on Raw.

Speaking of championship shots, Zack Ryder has been constantly on a roll as he is prepared to do whatever it takes to get another chance at Dolph Ziggler's United States Championship. Ryder has pinned Ziggler in tag team contests in the past, and has the backing of the fans (those in attendance as well as millions on twitter) and this week might be the time when he can finally convince the people in charge to give him a shot for his first 'real' championship.

Finally, Kevin Nash will be back in action after an almost 6-year long hiatus, as he prepares himself for his match against Triple H at TLC, the stipulation for which will be decided this week by Lauranitis. Will Nash be able to shake off his ring rust? Also, will we get an update on the condition of the Game? For all this and lots more, tune in to Raw.

SMACKDOWN (Friday 5 pm/ 10:30 pm IST):

It was established on WWE.Com that Big Show will get another chance at the World Heavyweight Championship when he faces Mark Henry in a chairs match at TLC. Even though Henry put the Big Show out of action 6 months earlier, the World's Largest Athlete has been almost unstoppable ever since he made his return from injury. The two behemoths are set to have a 'Titanic Confrontation' in the ring this week, and who knows what kind of hell these two will raise when they step inside the squared circle, even though it is not supposed to involve physical contact.

Two other superstars who would be having a match at TLC are Randy Orton and Wade Barrett. Ever since Barrett captained the team which defeated Orton's team at Survivor Series, the two have been at loggerheads, with Barrett constantly interfering in Orton's matches, trying to prove his supremacy as the top superstar on the SmackDown roster. This week both of them will be in action in two separate matches, with the one getting the victory in the shortest duration getting to decide the stipulation for their match at TLC. This will the perfect opportunity for either superstar to make sure that they head into the big match with the odds in favor. Who will come out on top? Watch SmackDown to find out.

Daniel Bryan had a spectacular Steel Cage match against Mark Henry (even though he lost) last week, and the American dragon is scheduled to be in action once again this week, as he attempts to shake off his defeat and start afresh on his path to WrestleMania, where he has planned to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Also in action will be the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, who is having some serious issues with Booker-T, and this week he might have some surprises planned for the six-time world champion.

And finally, watch out for your favourite superstars like Sheamus, Ezekiel Jackson and Ted DiBiase as they give you yet another week of action-packed, exhilarating sports entertainment.

NXT (Sunday 3 pm/ 10:30 pm IST):

NXT: Redmption draws to a close as Derrick Bateman, Darren Young and Percy Watson advance towards the final set of challenges that will determine who gets to become WWE's next breakout star.

YouTube video of the week:

Match: The Undertaker vs Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H (Handicap match)

Venue: Insurrexion 2001.

While insurrexion is one of the lesser known Pay-Per-Views, it did produce some classic matches, this one being the best of them.
