eBay India & Khushii (Kinship for Humanitarian, Social and Holistic Intervention in India), announced a series of once in a lifetime charity auctions that give fans a chance to spend time with two famous and much loved celebrities. Ardent fans can now enjoy a Lunch & Golf Session with ace cricketer Kapil Dev. And those with fitness & spirituality on their mind can bid for a personal Yoga session with Baba Ramdev.
All proceeds from the charity auction will benefit Kapil Dev’s Khushii Foundation India, which aims to look after the underprivileged in both rural & urban India. Both the auctions start at Rs. 1001. The auctions go live on Friday, March 18, 2011 and will end on March 25, 2011 spanning over 7 days.
Talking about the auction on eBay, the cricket legend, Kapil Dev said "The World Cup season is always nostalgia time for me - its been so for 28 years now since 1983. I thank eBay for making this time more special for me by joining hands with my NGO Khushii to raise funds. Come let’s play golf, talk cricket and give back some happiness (Khushii) to the underprivileged who really need it".
